Antoinette Casserly RAD (RTS), Principal
Antoinette has been teaching ballet and dance professionally for several years. She studied at the Cork Coláiste Stiofáin Naofa, Cork gaining her Diploma in Dance in 2004. This two-year Diploma course based at Firkin Crane, Ireland’s premier dance facility, gave Antoinette the opportunity to work with a wide range of national and international choreographers and dance companies including Cork City Ballet, the Perm State Ballet and the Kirov Ballet.
Antoinette is a registered and qualified RAD – Royal Academy of Dance (London) teacher, and has also trained on the instructors course for DDMIX (Diverse Dance Mix) with Dame Darcey Bussell.
Antoinette’s dance students will have the opportunity to partake in regular examinations, depending on their individual abilities and preparedness. Being a member of the Royal Academy of Dance (London) means that Antoinette has to follow a strict code of conduct. Skipping grades is not permitted in this school as each grade is a progression to the next.
Antoinette has an up to date CPD (Continual Professional Development) certificate from the Royal Academy of Dance, London.
Stage performances are a fun element of the school, and students of every age are welcome to perform in the shows choreographed and staged by Antoinette.
